Route 66 Turns 100!

The 11th Annual Williams Historic Route 66 Car Show, hosted by the American Legion Cordova Post 13 Family, rolled into Williams, Arizona on June 5 & 6, 2026, bringing together classic car lovers, custom builders, hot rod enthusiasts, veterans, locals, and travelers from across the country for one of Northern Arizona’s most anticipated automotive weekends.

Set along the legendary Historic Route 66, the two-day celebration transformed downtown Williams into a vibrant show-and-shine festival. Historic Route 66 served as the backdrop for hundreds of stunning vehicles, from vintage classics and muscle cars to customs, trucks, and one-of-a-kind builds.

Show & Shine on Route 66
Visitors strolled the iconic roadway as it filled with polished chrome, custom paint, and builds that reflected decades of automotive craftsmanship.

Music, Vendors & Local Flavors
Attendees enjoyed live music, great food, and unique vendors offering everything from automotive gear to handmade goods. Local shops and restaurants joined in the festivities, making the entire town part of the experience.

Awards & Community Fun
More than a dozen specialty awards were presented, honoring standout vehicles and the people who continue to keep the classic car spirit alive. The American Legion Family also hosted activities supporting veterans and the local community.

Cruise-In Atmosphere
With cool mountain air, friendly crowds, and the nostalgic charm of Williams, the event captured the feeling of stepping back into the golden era of American cruising.

Limited to 600 vehicle entries, the show once again attracted an impressive collection of cars and enthusiastic spectators. Whether participants displayed a vehicle or simply soaked in the sights, sounds, and stories, the Williams Historic Route 66 Car Show delivered a memorable weekend celebrating great cars, great people, and the rich history of America’s Mother Road.
